Senior Enterprise Application Manager

As Enterprise Applications manager you will help develop, design, customize, and maintain the company’s corporate applications and related systems inclusive of Salesforce, NetSuite, Marketplace, Concur and Financial Force. In this role you will assess system applications to ensure that they provide the best solutions for business operations, and you suggest changes or improvements. A large part of the role will be supporting you admin team by building business requirements for improvements to the applications while prioritizing their workload.

Position Responsibilities:

• Working under the leadership of, and in collaboration with, senior leadership to manage a highly technical team to meet company objectives on time and on budget, prioritizing accuracy, and performance in skill sets.
• Works with various IT teams to find solutions for complex business issues as they arise; then put process/technology/documentation in place to prevent recurrence.
• Acts as technical champion for the department - recommend, implement, and mentor staff and peers on industry best practices for the supported applications.
• Demonstrated leadership skills including ability to work effectively with Application Developers/Administrators
• Receives complex projects from senior leadership and translate into project plans with deliverables and dates.
• Resolves problems, identifies trends, determines system improvements, implements change when necessary and documents process for business users.
• Successfully manages day to day activities of a team of admins across multiple applications leveraging a ticketing queue and application roadmaps for functional and technical management.
• Conducts and leads monthly roadmap meetings with associated admin and business functions to assure the business expectations are aligned with the teams ability to deliver.
• Manages third party managed services providers and third party consultants working on complex projects for meeting SLA expectation, technical documentation while assuring the teams stays within budget.
• Ensures uniformity across IT systems infrastructure to enable effective application integration capabilities. Champions the deployment of enterprise-wide systems management processes, techniques, and service management practice
• Actively identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver solutions that create efficiencies and add value.
• Understanding of project management skills with ability to multi-task and set priorities within tight timelines and high expectations

• 5+ years of experience with delivering on projects as part of a cross-functional, cross-departmental team
• Experience managing a technical team
• Previous experience creating business cases, requirements, and process maps
• Ability to create and maintain beneficial working relationships with multiple areas of Operations, Sales, and IT
• Required to have worked in a SaaS organization.
• Working knowledge on running sprint project methodology
• Experience in the business side and IT delivery of solutions
• Strong individual that understand business needs vs technology needs and can translate between the two
