JAGGAER is the intelligent source-to-pay and supplier collaboration platform, with a strong focus on strategic sourcing. We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our growing development team.

 

This role offers a unique opportunity to work on innovative solutions within a global software and services organization. You’ll design, develop, and deliver high-quality software while gaining exposure to advanced technologies and integration frameworks.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Design and implement solutions based on loosely defined requirements; develop, test, and debug code.
  • Build REST-based integration frameworks that enable product lines and data sources to integrate seamlessly with customer systems.
  • Work on both Tomcat-based applications and standalone Java microservices.
  • Contribute to ongoing platform enhancements and new feature development.
  • Collaborate globally with our team of experienced developers.

Position Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development with strong skills in Java and Object-Oriented Programming.
  • Experience with MySQL, including SQL querying and database interaction.
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Creative, self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn, share knowledge, and adapt to new processes and workflows.
  • Must be available to work until at least 12 PM US Eastern (preferably 2 PM) to ensure overlap with global teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Advanced experience with Hibernate/JPA for ORM.
  • Familiarity with Jersey REST framework.
  • Knowledge of ZeroMQ/ZMQ for messaging.
  • Experience with strategic sourcing applications.
