We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior Looker Developer to join our Data Engineering Team. This role focuses on developing, optimizing, and delivering high-impact analytics content, with a particular emphasis on Looker dashboards and visualizations. Your expertise in Looker and strong analytical mindset will help transform complex data into actionable insights for our stakeholders.

As a Senior Looker Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced Looker dashboards that empower data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate closely with the Analytics/Data Engineering team and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate data into intuitive, impactful visualizations. Your ability to craft compelling and insightful analytics content will be pivotal in driving organizational success.

• Design, build, and optimize Looker dashboards and reports tailored to business needs.
• Collaborate with the analytics team to understand and analyze complex datasets, identifying trends and key insights.
• Ensure dashboards and visualizations are intuitive, actionable, and aligned with stakeholder requirements.
• Connect Looker dashboards to various data sources, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Monitor and improve the performance of Looker content, addressing issues like load times and data refresh efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, product owners, and QA professionals, to deliver cohesive analytics solutions.
• Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on how to use Looker content effectively.
• Maintain thorough documentation of Looker projects, data workflows, and processes.

• 5+ years of experience in analytics content development, with at least 3 years focused on Looker.
• Proven track record of delivering impactful Looker dashboards and reports.
• Advanced knowledge of LookML, Looker views and explore.
• Proficiency in handling large datasets, data wrangling, and working with SQL.
• Strong understanding of data visualization principles and user-centered design.
• Ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Experience integrating Looker with various data sources, such as relational databases or cloud platforms.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non-technical audiences.
