Job Overview: Principal Analyst, Marketing Operations (Pardot)

 

We are looking for a technically proficient and operationally sharp Marketing Automation Specialist to join our global Marketing team. As the primary owner of our Pardot (Account Engagement) instance, you will sit at the heart of campaign execution, marketing technology integrations, and lead lifecycle management. Your work will directly support growth marketers, global campaign teams, event teams, and partner marketing—ensuring every campaign is tracked, every lead is scored, and every integration runs without a hitch.

 

Principal Responsibilities

Pardot Platform Ownership & Administration
• Instance Management: Own day-to-day administration of the Pardot (Account Engagement) instance, including user sync configurations from Salesforce, role assignments, and ongoing housekeeping (recycle bin cleaning, deduplication, and automation health checks).
• Lead Lifecycle Configuration: Configure and maintain lead grading, scoring models, and automation rules to ensure leads are routed accurately to SDRs and Sales at the right stage of the buyer journey.
• Automation Projects: Lead BAU and strategic automation initiatives (e.g., Partner Intake Leads Project), identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce manual effort.

 

Campaign Execution & Email Marketing
• Campaign Creation: Build and manage campaigns in Salesforce (SFDC) end-to-end, ensuring proper campaign hierarchy, attribution, and sync with Pardot.
• Email Support: Create and adapt email templates, support complex nurture program builds, and provide hands-on assistance to growth marketers for time-sensitive sends.
• Dynamic Content & Personalisation: Build dynamic content blocks and personalised email experiences based on segmentation criteria and buyer persona attributes.
• List Management: Create and maintain both static and dynamic list segmentations; manage list uploads including data preparation and field mapping.

 

Event & Webinar Technology
• Webinar Setup (Webex): Create webinars in Webex using standard templates; configure the end-to-end registration flow connecting Pardot forms → SFDC campaigns → Webex registrations, including confirmation email automation.
• Landing Pages (WordPress + Pardot): Build dedicated event landing pages in WordPress, embedding Pardot forms and ensuring the full registration journey is seamless and tracked.
• Cvent Platform Support: Manage SFDC integration configurations for Cvent (used for REV events), including campaign sync, dashboard setup, and ongoing platform health monitoring.

 

Audience & Campaign Support for Global Teams
• Global Campaigns: Support audience segmentation and list builds for global campaigns; manage form creation for paid activities (e.g., Milan) and ensure proper Pardot–SFDC campaign linkage.
• Partner Marketing: Create campaigns and execute email sends (newsletters, webinar invitations) through Pardot on behalf of the Partner Marketing team; administer the G2 integration and support G2-connected workflows in SFDC contact and account layouts.
• Operational Communications: Support customer-facing and internal operational communications in coordination with Support, Product, Cloud Operations, and Privacy teams—typically on a Monday send cadence.

 

Integrations & MarTech Stack Management
• Pardot–Salesforce Sync: Monitor and maintain the health of the Pardot–SFDC bi-directional sync, including user sync, campaign member sync, and lead/contact data flows.
• Webex Integration: Manage the Webex–SFDC integration (Boomi middleware); coordinate with Nag and external Boomi consultants as needed for enhancements or issue resolution.
• ZoomInfo & Salesloft: Administer ZoomInfo data enrichment workflows and support Salesloft sequence integrations to ensure consistent data quality across the revenue stack.
• G2 Administration: Own the G2 admin role and manage the G2–SFDC integration so that Sales and SDR teams can access intent data directly within Contact and Account layouts.
• Monday.com: Support the Monday–SFDC custom integration (Boomi) for operational workflow management.

 

Data Integrity & Performance Reporting
• UTM & Tracking Architecture: Own the end-to-end UTM tracking framework and conversion tracking setup, ensuring attribution data flows accurately from first touch to closed-won opportunity.
• Funnel Auditing: Conduct regular audits of the lead-to-revenue funnel within Pardot and SFDC to surface data quality issues, attribution gaps, and process inefficiencies.
• Ad-Hoc Analysis: Support the CMO and Marketing Manager with rapid-response data requests for board decks, QBRs, and campaign performance reviews.

Position Requirements

Experience: 3–4 years in marketing operations, marketing automation, or a closely related B2B SaaS marketing role.
Pardot / Account Engagement: Hands-on experience as a Pardot admin: automation rules, engagement studios, scoring/grading, dynamic lists, and form/landing page builds. Pardot Specialist certification preferred.
Salesforce: Working knowledge of SFDC campaign management, lead/contact objects, campaign member statuses, and standard reporting. Experience with SFDC–Pardot sync configuration is essential.
Email & Campaign Execution: Proven ability to build, test, and deploy HTML email templates and multi-step nurture programs independently.
Event Tech: Familiarity with Webex Webinars, Cvent, or equivalent event platforms; comfortable managing end-to-end event registration flows.
Integrations: Exposure to integration middleware (Boomi, Zapier, or similar) and experience troubleshooting data sync issues between marketing and sales platforms.
Data & Analytics: Comfortable with list segmentation, UTM tracking, and basic funnel reporting; able to translate data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong communicator who can manage competing priorities across multiple internal teams (Growth, Events, Global Campaigns, Partner Marketing, IT) with minimal supervision.
